In 2014, Lancaster City Police Bureau established its own Police Athletic League (PAL) Chapter for the City of Lancaster. PAL’s goal is to reduce juvenile crime and violence by providing opportunities to law enforcement officers and youth to build positive connections through sports and other physical activities.
PAL has proven to be effective in forging outstanding relationships between police officers and community members. Due to the success of the program, hundreds of PAL chapters operate in communities across the United States.
Our PAL officers coach a variety of athletic programs and recreational enrichment activities to participating youth. They also provide mentorship and support outside of the sports arena to help participants reach their fullest potential!
