Lancaster City – Meet, Sally, our K-9 for a Day! Sally is currently being fostered by one of our Bureau employees through Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue! She is our very first K-9 for a Day which is an initiative to help adoptable dogs find their forever home!
Sally’s first day of work was full of excitement. It included many pets from staff, a ride-along, her very first press briefing, and a delicious pup cup! Although it was a lot of fun, she has decided the K-9 life is not for her and would prefer to lounge at home, preferably in the warmth of someone’s lap.
The rescue believes Sally is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 5-6 months old. Sally and her littermates were found abandoned and lived outside until recently when she found a foster family to take her in. She’s doing great with housebreaking, crate training, and learning the ropes as a beloved pet. Sally is looking for someone who has the time and patience to help her develop into the perfect family dog.
