Mizo is a 14-month-old German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. Mizo is partnered with Officer J Hatfield and will be a dual-purpose K-9, cross-trained in patrol and narcotics. Officer Hatfield and Mizo graduated from the K-9 academy on Monday, June 17, and will start their first shift together this evening.
Mizo has a big collar to fill but we are excited to watch him grow into a skilled and reliable team member. With Officer Hatfield’s guidance, we are confident they will form an unbeatable duo. We wish them the best of luck on their first shift and look forward to the positive impact they will have in Lancaster City. Welcome to the team, K-9 Mizo!
