The Lancaster City Bureau of Police will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, January 25th, 2 PM – 7 PM, in the 4th floor EOC at the Police Station. We won the challenge in 2023 and are looking to maintain the title in 2024!
The Lancaster City Bureau of Police, along with other local departments, is participating in the Bleed Blue Challenge hosted by Penn Medicine LGH Blood Donation Center in January and February of 2024!
January is National Blood Donor Month, and this friendly competition between local departments is held to increase blood donations, which are desperately needed. Please consider making a lifesaving blood donation and while you’re there make sure to mention you would like to show your support for the Lancaster City Bureau of Police.
This event is not just for police officers! Your family, friends, and any other local supporters of the Lancaster City Police are invited to participate in this challenge. The department that generates the most donations is presented with a plaque that is passed on from the previous year’s winner to be displayed in their department.
