We recently received some challenging news and wanted to provide everyone with an update on K9 Zoltan. As many of you are aware, K9 Zoltan was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma earlier this year and underwent a 19-week chemotherapy treatment. K9 Zoltan officially went into remission on May 31st this year. However, we received disheartening news earlier this week: our vet has determined that the B-cell lymphoma has unfortunately returned.
K9 Zoltan is now embarking on another 19-week cancer treatment journey. Throughout this treatment, K9 Zoltan will continue his duties patrolling Lancaster City, just as he has done before. Continuing to work is not only beneficial for his well-being but also helps maintain his routine and keeps him engaged in what he loves most.
We kindly ask that you keep Zoltan and his handler, Officer J. Hatfield, in your thoughts and prayers throughout this treatment. Your support means a lot to both of them.
